Once drawn completely in 3D the CAD data of each panel of the project is
converted to a standard format for the master computer in the plant
The production process is handled and controlled by the factory master
computer in the following steps:
Plotting station: An outline of the panel with all
inserts is plotted directly onto the steel pallet. Any geometry of the
panels is possible within the limits of our pallets, which is 12m x 3m.
Reinforcement station: T14, T12, T10 and T8 coils are
automatically drawn down, straightened, cut, bent and placed by the computer
onto the pallet.
Concreting station: The quantity of concrete required
for each pallet is calculated and ordered from the batching plant.
Curing chamber: Once placed and vibrated the computer
places the pallet into the curing chamber and automatically keeps track
of the concrete setting time ready either to draw down the pallet for
being demoulded or joined with the second skin of a double wall.
Further to the above the whole production of the Double
Wall System can be broken into four discreet stages:
The first concrete skin containing the lattice girder is cast and cured.
The second concrete skin is then cast.
The first skin is taken, turned over by 180º and placed into the wet
second skin. The lattice girders provide a secure connection between both
skins.
The completed wall is then placed in the chamber for curing.
